The subsidy to be provided by the Government under the VSS to the doctor is $800 for each eligible elderly with high risk conditions receiving one dose of PCV13 or PCV15. PCV13 and PCV15 each only has one brand which has been registered for sale in Hong Kong, provided by two different companies respectively. The two companies have respectively agreed to offer the PCV13 or PCV15 to the doctor at a net price of $660 per dose for administration under the VSS.
